Between 2013-2016 Dr George acted as a strategist and community engagement lead for a large independent school in Perth pulling together a group of volunteers to develop an efficient and engaging volunteer program. This involved partnering with a team of “champion” parents to lead the school community in online and face to face encouragement and engagement of school volunteers into areas within the school that connects school needs with areas of parent interest, skills and preparation.
